Grades Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 4 Teachers

Miss Ann Mangan

Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten

I received my BA in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan in 2005. In the spring of 2011 I received my Masters degree in Science and Education from Walden University. I have also earned my Advanced Catechetical Certification through the Diocese of Lansing.  I was born and raised in Ann Arbor, and I have been a member of Christ the King parish my entire life.  I love teaching at a Catholic school, and being able to share my faith with my students. In my free time I enjoy watching sports, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions about our Kindergarten or Pre-Kindergarten programs at

Mrs. Laura Ceresa

Grades 1 & 2

My name is Laura Ceresa. This is my sixth year teaching here at Holy Spirit Catholic School.  I am married and have two children, and we are members at St. John’s Catholic Church in Howell.

I received my B.A. in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Endorsement from Eastern Michigan University, and my Master’s in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College . I also have my Advanced Catechetical Certificate.

I thoroughly enjoy teaching 1st and 2nd grade!  I feel that at this age especially, children have such a love for life and truly possess a desire to please.   Students become so excited when they learn something new, which makes teaching fun!  I like seeing them grow as readers.  I am so blessed to have the opportunity each year to prepare my 2nd grade students to celebrate their First Reconciliation and receive their First Holy Communion.

Outside of school I love spending time with my family! We enjoy swimming, biking, and kayaking together.  I also enjoy reading, cooking, and baking.

You may contact me at if you have any questions about 1st or 2nd grade or the Sacraments received during students’ 2nd grade year.

 Miss Kelly Hager

Grades 3 & 4

I attend St. Patrick Catholic Church in Brighton, Michigan. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education as well as a certification in Social Studies in grades 6-8. After graduating from EMU, I was a 2nd grade long-term substitute teacher at Creekside Elementary in Hartland, Michigan.  I have been teaching third and fourth grade at Holy Spirit Roman Catholic School for four years.

Outside of school and church, I like to spend my time traveling. The past couple of years I spent my holiday breaks traveling to France, Belgium, Germany, and Spain. During the summer months, I love to garden. I also enjoy swimming and taking my two dogs, Sammy and Eddy, for walks around my neighborhood. I am an avid reader and try to read at least 3 books a month.  My contact information is if you have any questions about third or fourth grade here at Holy Spirit School.
